Over 600 brands have been evaluated in Norway's largest brand survey
What characterises a strong brand, what does it take to become the strongest brand in a category, and who are actually Norway's strongest brands?
These are some of the questions BAV (Brand Asset Valuator) can answer when the world's largest brand survey has now been conducted for the second time in Norway.
BAV maps Brand Equity and personality for over 600 brands in the Norwegian market. BAV also allows us to identify which attributes drive key KPIs within defined categories, as well as track brands' positions and development on both drivers and other attributes. Since BAV is category-agnostic and consistently conducted in several countries, we can also gain insights from other categories and markets.
Through consistent measurements on over 75 parameters, BAV enables us to develop good and comprehensive brand strategies for your particular brand. Customised insight reports from the tool can provide answers to:
Brands' positions and development on brand strength and personality.
What drives key KPIs such as relevance, differentiation, or attachment to brands within various categories.
How brands' personalities differ from competitors and how this affects brands' positions and potential.
Possible synergies between brands, either in one's own portfolio or with brands one is considering partnering with.
How brands are perceived in different markets and what we can learn from these.
Both the scope and method make BAV a unique tool for anyone working with brands.*
The survey is developed and administered by companies within WPP and operated in the Norwegian market by GroupM agencies EssenceMediacom, Mindshare, and Wavemaker. Insights and analyses from the latest round of BAV were made available to GroupM clients from August. However, GroupM will also offer BAV analyses for all those working with brands in Norway going forward. Please contact our A&I responsible for a chat about what BAV can contribute to you.
