EssenceMediacom named Global Agency Network of the Year at M&M Global Awards

EssenceMediacom has won the top prize at the M&M Global Awards at a ceremony in London on Thursday after winning 16 prizes for its work around the world.

With six Gold and 10 Highly Commended trophies, the network outperformed its competitors at this important annual event, scooping the Global Agency Network of the Year accolade.

Gold trophies went to work for Sprite in India and China, where EssenceMediacom won the Best Use of Packaging as a Media Channel and Best Campaign led by the Creative Idea categories respectively.

The Best Local Execution for a Brand and Best Campaign led by Digital Media categories were won by work for Pedigree in New Zealand and Snickers in Brazil and the agency also won Gold with work for eBay and Sky in the Talent and Gaming categories.

Highly Commended Awards were picked up by Gravy Race for Sheba in the US, Sing to Remember for Coca-Cola in India as well as hay fever treatment Claritine in Croatia. There were also additional prizes for Gold winners Pedigree, Sprite and eBay.

In total there were wins for eight different markets and eight different brands, building on a shortlist of 56 campaigns, the most for any agency.
