New CEO Appointment for EssenceMediacom Turkey

Zafer Tipigil was appointed as the new CEO of EssenceMediaCom.

Born in Ankara in 1976, Zafer Tipigil graduated from Robert College in 1995 and Koç University Department of Business Administration in 1999.

After university, Zafer Tipigil worked in the client relations departments of Penajans D'arcy and Total İletişim advertising agencies, respectively, and moved to Ford Otomotiv Sanayi A.Ş. as an Advertising and Media Specialist in 2001. During his nearly 10 years of employment at Ford Otosan, he assumed various responsibilities in the Sales & Marketing department as passenger vehicle product manager and in the field sales and marketing strategies teams.

Zafer Tipigil joined Mindshare in 2010, where he served as team leader in the fields of client leadership, new business and digital transformation and contributed to the success of the agency.

In 2020, he served as IMC Director of Turkey, Caucasus and Central Asia region at The Coca-Cola Company, and in 2022 as DTC Growth and Strategy Director at The Walt Disney Company Turkey. Outside of work, he is interested in sports, music and travelling.
